Iris is the software platform Webmethod is building for mortgage lenders that use the Income Verification Express Service (IVES) — the IRS program lenders rely on to obtain tax transcripts during underwriting. IVES comes with strict identity, consent, and recordkeeping requirements, and meeting them with spreadsheets, fax machines, and generic e-sign tools is where most lenders lose time.
Iris turns those requirements into workflows lender staff can actually run: borrower consent captured correctly on Form 4506-C, authorized users identity-proofed before access is granted, transcript workflows delivered securely, and every event recorded for the file. It is built for the processors, underwriters, and QC teams who run income verification day to day.
